Weekend recap: when travel plans go awry

This was one of my first free weekends in a while. I had plans to go to a wedding in NOLA, but Hurricane Barry had other flight plans for me. So, I instead hopped on a plane and flew myself to Baltimore, where my best friend Kristin picked me up. We had a super chill weekend brunchin' and hangin'.
"When travel plans go awry" should be the official tagline of travel itself — loved this. The times mine have gone sideways, the one thing that saved me was getting online instantly to rebook or find directions. After one too many roaming-bill shocks I switched to a travel eSIM so I'm connected the second I land — this comparison of roaming vs eSIM costs is what convinced me. Thanks for the honest recap.
